Senior Account Executive/Group Manager

As Senior Account Executive or Group Manager, you will lead and manage in the design, creation, execution, and evaluation of direct mail fundraising campaigns for charities and nonprofits.  Supervise individuals or small teams of account and production staff.  Responsibilities include building relationships with clients, designing creative direct mail strategies, leading and participating in creative activities, preparing mail plans and account budgets, contracting with vendors for direct mail fundraising support services, designing test programs, evaluating the effectiveness of direct mail campaigns, and assisting with proposals for new accounts.  Must have 5-7+ years of direct mail fundraising experience, be effective in managing and communicating with senior-level contacts at client accounts, have keen insight into the art and science of direct mail fundraising, and an understanding of the role of online services in the contemporary fundraising marketplace as well as a progressive leadership attitude and experience managing agency staff.  We offer ESOP company ownership, competitive salary, excellent benefits and a pleasant working environment.

Direct Mail Production Manager

Creative Direct Response, a growing, well-established, full-service direct marketing company, with offices in Bowie, Md., seeks an experienced production manager to execute all production responsibilities for our nonprofit clients’ direct mail programs.

Duties include bidding print, imaging and mailshop; proofing and quality control, including the proofing and editing of copy; maintaining communications with all suppliers and maintaining client files.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Preference will be given to candidates with at least four years of direct marketing industry experience. Administrative Assistant

Summary:  Assists Administrative, Executive, New Business Development and Client Services division heads by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Prepares/edits correspondence, reports and other complex documents for executive staff (Donna, Joe and Nancy)
  • Provide back-up support to CEO when his AA is unavailable
  • Research travel for Executive Staff
  • Assists account staff with entering billing costs into CDR’s reporting system
  • Provide clerical and administrative assistance to Executive Staff
  • Maintain seeds (direct mail donations made to prospective clients)
  • Maintain contacts database and generate mail lists as needed
  • Help with producing copies of promotional materials and keeping them current
  • Coordinate food for events
  • Copying and other administrative tasks related to new business proposals and sales presentations
  • Register CDRFG contracts and assist account executives with tracking expiration dates
  • Assist with tracking company memberships and participation with industry organizations
  • Maintain physical and computer files of marketing materials and correspondence
  • Assist in maintenance of marketing tracking report
  • Coordinate storage and distribution of CDRFG promotional premiums (e.g., Navy game tickets, Annapolis crab cruise invitations)
  • Circulate publications among CDR staff. 
  • Part-time coverage of reception desk.
  • Performs other clerical duties as needed.
