Copywriter/Editor Requirements

College degree in English, journalism or communications.

Excellent writing skills, though not necessarily a high degree of professional writing experience.

Ability to empathize with charitable needs and appeals for aid.

An affinity for detail and the ability to edit copy for grammatical content and proofread for spelling, syntax, etc.

Knowledge of proofreaders marks.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word. Work on MAC with InDesign desirable.

Job will entail approximately 70% editing responsibilities with 30% copywriting.
