CDR FUNDRAISING GROUP DIGITAL ANALYST

Description:

The Digital Analyst is responsible for setting up, optimizing, and reporting on digital advertising campaigns for our non-profit clients.  The Digital Analyst provides client reporting, including dashboard design and implementation, standard and ad hoc reporting, encompassing our work in multiple digital media channels, email, and all traffic, engagement, and revenue generation on the client’s website and other web properties. The Analyst will provide in-depth analysis on giving trends to inform our digital strategies and campaign priorities. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of technical expertise and analytical strength, as well as experience with website management and digital marketing tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs donor trend analysis focused primarily on paid search ads within various social media and Google advertising platforms, as well as campaign retargeting, display, and video ads.
  • Creates dashboards and reports to share campaign results in Google Data Studio, Google Analytics, Sheets, Sisense, and other platforms. Utilizes Google Analytics and other tools to compile statistics on usage, and to prepare reports for various audiences.
  • Analyzes results to determine the effectiveness of various campaigns, A/B tests, and creative executions and makes recommendations for how to increase conversions. Prepares accurate, client-ready reports on overall campaign performance. Reports weekly on recommendations and strategy. Identifies trends and insights to support the optimization of our marketing strategy.
  • Identifies and reports actionable insights for the team using data from multiple sources, including web analytics and search tools.
  • Conducts SEO audits and provides recommendations.
  • Delivers client ready results and analysis for A/B testing of client websites, landing pages, emails, and donation forms.
  • Contributes to the agency’s advertising expertise through research of new ad platforms, tools, strategies, and tactics to drive success.
  • Identifies critical conversation points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Skills:

  • Experience executing analytic tasks and creating meaningful outputs.
  • An understanding of Google Data Studio’s capabilities, quirks, and solutions. Knowledge of SEO, online search mediums, and social media, and an understanding of how all of these channels work together in advertising is a plus.
  • Familiarity with fundraising metrics and direct marketing strategy is a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills; strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfort working across a wide array of client data and reporting platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently under deadlines in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while working independently and on teams.
  • Other key competencies include meticulous attention to detail, innovation, a talent for detecting patterns, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.

Experience:

  • Two to three years of experience in a Digital Analyst position with in-depth knowledge of various digital and reporting platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
  • Google Analytics and Data Studio experience required. Google Ads Certification preferred.
  • Experience with business intelligence/data visualization software (Sisense, Tableau, Power BI) a plus.
  • Familiarity with SQL and ability to write SQL queries a plus.
  • Experience using APIs and other integrations a plus.
  • Proficiency in standard spreadsheet, data base, word processing and presentation applications (e.g.,
  • Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint), as well as a variety of online information resources.
  • A solid understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript are preferred.
